Registered Dental Hygienist

As a dental hygienist, Leanna promotes excellent oral health through oral screenings, preventive care delivery, oral disease management, and patient education. She graduated from Foothill College in Los Altos Hills and joined Spruce Dental in 2019.

Leanna enjoys getting to know her patients personally and learning how they can work together to improve their oral health. She loves seeing patients progress, even if it's a small improvement. Progress is progress no matter how small, and Leanna makes sure to let her patients know that. 

Leanna delivers comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients of all ages and medical and oral conditions. Her duties include performing dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, or scaling and root planing; taking x-rays and assessing gum health; providing fluoride treatment; and educating patients on their oral health. 

Outside of dentistry, Leanna loves spending quality time with family and friends, regularly exercising at the gym, practicing yoga, and cooking.
